Where we process personal data on behalf of a client rather than for our own purposes, we act as a data processor under Article 28 and will enter into a Data Processing Agreement covering the scope and purpose of processing, sub-processors, security measures, breach notification, and deletion or return of data on termination. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). You may request access to the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Where a data breach is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme. DavinLabs is established in Sri Lanka, which is not the subject of an adequacy decision by the European Commission or the United Kingdom. Where personal data is transferred from the EEA or the UK to Sri Lanka, that transfer is governed by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, together with a documented transfer impact assessment and supplementary technical measures.
For client projects we prefer to avoid the transfer entirely: where a client requires it, systems are deployed into EU, UK, or Australian cloud regions and our engineers work through scoped, audited, least-privilege access rather than taking copies of personal data offshore.
We use Google Analytics to understand how this website is used. Analytics storage is disabled by default and no analytics cookies are written unless you accept them through the consent banner shown on your first visit. We do not use advertising cookies, and advertising signals remain disabled regardless of your choice.
